Sign-in help
How signing in to IMSFlow works, step by step.
Signing in
Enter your username and password. Usernames are given by your administrator. If your organisation allows it, you can choose E-mail me a sign-in code instead of a password.
Security PIN
Some accounts also ask for a 4โ8 digit PIN, for example administrators signing in from a new network. Wrong PINs are limited (usually 3) before sign-in is locked for a while and the administrator is told.
Authenticator app (two-step verification)
Administrators use an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. The first time, scan the QR code shown after your password. After that, open the app, find the entry IMSFlow ยท your-username (this site's address) and type the 6-digit code shown now. Codes change every 30 seconds and each works once โ if one fails, wait for the next. Codes depend on your phone's time: set it to automatic.
Several IMSFlow entries in your app?
The sign-in screen shows the exact entry name and the date it was set up. Entries named only IMSFlow: your-username are from an earlier set-up and can be deleted from the app.
Recovery codes
When you set up the app you get 8 recovery codes. Each works once in place of the 6-digit code, for example if you change phones. Keep them somewhere safe.
Codes by e-mail
If your organisation allows it, choose E-mail me a code on the verification screen. The code is valid for 10 minutes and works once. Accounts without an e-mail address can't use this.
Forgot your password?
Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page and enter your e-mail address. The link works once and expires in 30 minutes.
Lost your phone or locked out?
Ask an administrator: they can unlock a PIN, send a password reset, or reset your two-step verification so you can set it up again on a new phone.
